Since we jumped into the Botting/Artificial Streaming space, we’ve noticed one major hurdle for most users: the music itself.
The general principle is that an artist uploads his release (single/ep/album) to a music distribution service, and once it gets live on a DSP such as Spotify, the fans can listen to their favorite artists' work, where the artist receives new listeners and royalties from the listener's streams. Many would find out later that it's possible to repeat the streams on and on to pump up more streams, resulting in more royalties. As the years went by, DSPs such as Spotify increased their security to prevent Artificial Streaming in collaboration with Distributors, and part of that was better Quality Control while reviewing the songs.
We decided to sell pre-checked tracks from bedroom producers, small bands, rappers, and anyone making good and qualified music to combat the issue with Distribution's Quality Control checkpoint, where each release goes live confidently, avoiding the Distributor's suspicion.
Previously, we ran one of the largest DM Bot networks on Instagram/Facebook, direct messaging and sending mass emails to a large set of artist emails asking if they'd like to sell us their music. The key to getting an artist to sell their music/discography was to lock him in on a high price at once, for example, buying one track for $5, the next one for $4, and then the remaining 100 tracks for $0.05 to 0.50 cents, depending on the seriosity of an artist, and their country of origin.
The artists would then go to one of our websites, where they would make an account, upload their tracks, and receive an offer, making everything professional for the artist to prove that we're legit and lock them cheaply.
